NEW CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS FOR LONG TERM CARE

The (NAIC) National Association of Insurance Commissioners’ Long-Term Insurance Model Act recommends that individuals already licensed and selling, soliciting or negotiating long-term care insurance to complete a one-time eight hour training course by December 31, 2007. In addition, agents must complete ongoing training requirements of no less than four hours. Both of these training requirements may be approved as continuing education courses. These hours are not required in addition to the normal number of credit hours required for each agent.

Both the 8 credit and 4 credit courses will be available soon!
The 8 credit course has been submitted for approval by FLDFS.
If you would like notification of availability,
please send an e-mail to scot@wallstreetinstructors.com with LTC in the subject line.
